The perfect time for a newborn photo shoot is between 5 and 14 days after birth. At this time, the baby sleeps almost all the time, easily lays down in beautiful poses reminding it a position in mother’s womb.

Later redness or a rash may appear on the skin of the baby, and colic can disturb the little one.

To take a photo session at the right time, before the 14th day from birth, the date should be set in advance, based on your expected date of birth.

Sometimes if mother found out about this type of photoshoot late or stayed longer in the hospital I will also be happy to work with your baby because each age has its own charm. You will definitely have beautiful and unforgettable pictures.

The day before the photo shoot you should bathe the baby and wash the hair. It is not advised to introduce a new formula as well. Mom should avoid food causing colic, just in case.

The success of the photo shoot also depends on your preparedness.

Be sure to take a pacifier, a bottle of expressed milk or a formula. This will allow you to calm and feed the baby during the shooting without stopping the process.

The participation of parents, elder siblings and grandparents is very welcome. I’ll say from experience that these pictures become the most valuable. A newborn baby in the strong arms of a loving father or mother, for whom the baby is the most precious treasure, are the best opportunity to convey all intimacy and the boundless love.

If you decide to take part in a photo shoot, you will need to do some preparation. Choose clothes in plain colours without bright labels so everyone looks harmoniously in a single color scheme. White color looks beautiful.

For mother, it is better to choose nude makeup, neutral manicure and decent hairdo will be perfect. Good mood is a very important part of our shooting. Your joy and tranquility is transmitted to the child and is reflected in the photographs. Therefore, I advise you to tune in to positivity and enjoy the process!

The studio is always clean, warm, so you don't need to worry about your baby's health! Before each session the studio is disinfected, I use the ultraviolet lamp against viruses and microbes, the children's costumes are cleaned with hypoallergenic products and a steam generator.

I have a large selection of costumes, mini bed, baskets, bowl, wraps and other equipment necessary to make the most beautiful photo shoot for your baby.

The studio has everything for the comfort of the baby, as well as of the parents! I will be happy to see you in my studio. The studio is in Nyon, which is ideally located between Geneva and Lausanne.

• At your place

Sometimes it’s difficult for mother to come to the studio. In this case I will be happy to arrange a photo session at your place. This option has its advantages. The familiar environment is comfortable for mother and newborn baby and everything you need is always at hand. Before the beginning of the photo session we warm up the room to a temperature of 28 to 30 ° C, which helps the baby to relax and sleep tight. I always have a compact heater, which I will bring. All the necessary accessories for the photo shoot (baskets, clothes, lights, etc.) I will also bring to your place.
